I was at work when we got the news of the first plane hitting the Twin Tower. We all went to the break room and turned on the TV and watched in horror as the second plane hit and then the news of the plane hitting the Pentagon. The horror of that day was something I will never forgot, then the silence in the skies for the days afterwards was a constant eerie reminder.
