This is a list (below) of the nine surviving blocks included in the Heritage Lottery-funded project 'Block Capital: A Participative History of High Rise Council Flats since 1960' (i.e. inside the marked circle).The project will run for 12 months until August 2014. It will train and support local residents to investigate the history and heritage of 1960s high-rise council flats in the centre of the Black Country. It will create an accessible archive of material relating to the history of tower blocks and the people whose lives have been connected to them.
