Once here the club went on to huge success winning the league in 3 years out of 4. this is where the famous "Team of all the Talents" played.

7: 1898 Roker Park

For many still the spiritual home of Sunderland AFC as many will remember going to matches here with their parents and grandparents. The club won the FA cup finals in 1937 and 1973, but the ground also hosted some World Cup games in 1966.

The Stadium of Light dominates the city skyline and can hold 49,000 spectators.
There is no blue plaque here - and there won't be unless the club decides to move yet again!
