1: Six Arms
Beer and pub food. A McMenamin's restaurant. Also, where we're going for post-EdCampIS Happy Hour.
Más sobre Six Arms2: Terra Plata
The fanciest of the bunch ($10-$16/entree), amazingly delicious, fresh, local, organic food by famous local chef Maria Hines of Tilth. Great lunches, done with professional presentation and a real Seattle feel: consider the steak salad with kale, jalapenos, lime, avocado, feta cheese, in a lime vinagrette (trust us.) You'll get a server here, and if you need a beer at lunch, get the local Lucille IPA on tap.
Más sobre Terra Plata3: Homegrown
Yummy sandwiches and salads with emphasis on local and sustainable sources. Great beet and goat cheese salad, $10-$12/pp.
Más sobre Homegrown4: Honeyhole
Delicious sandwiches, huge, with an emphasis on gooey melty cheese (in a good way). $8-$12 with high-quality ingredients. Both meat and veggie friendly. Order at counter. Consider sharing the amazing fries.
Más sobre Honeyhole5: The Other Coast Cafe
More great sandwiches, this time aspiring to the NYC/East Coast sub tradition. Northwest School US Head Ben Lee loves this place.
Más sobre The Other Coast Cafe6: Stumptown Coffee
Not really a lunch place, but arguably the best lattes and whole bean coffee in Seattle. Which means, logically, they're based in Portland.
Más sobre Stumptown Coffee8: Travelers
Good Indian food served Thali style in a store that sells all things South Asian. MUST ORDER THE CHAI. It's legendary.
Más sobre Travelers9: Baguette Box
This neighborhood is littered with sandwich places. Baguette Box is inspired by Vietnamese Banh Mi, but fanci-fied - they smoke their own pork, serve on amazing baguettes, serve truffle fries (get them!) $8/-$10/pp. The "drunken chicken" (think crispy General Tso's chicken but way better) sandwich is famous.
Más sobre Baguette Box10: Pho Le
Vietnamese pho. Rated decently on Yelp. We can't all want sandwiches, you know.
